My friend &amp; I walk at Longshaw quite regularly &amp; always finish with a meal at The Fox House. Good quality food in a pleasant atmosphere &amp; friendly waiting on staff.Thank you

I have lived in Sheffield and now Derbyshire for 30 years and had not been to the Chequers for some time. I was impressed with the food enough to write this review as it was excellent. And I eat out while travelling for work about 10 weeks a year.

The welcome is very welcoming, the service great and the food exceptional. This is fast becoming our regular haunt.

A great place to go. Warm and friendly service with a fire to keep you warm in winter. Great beer and quality food.

Fantastic all round once we got there although signage re blocked road could have been much better on the road and your website and cost us a 20 minute detour  enroute
